My Special Education students are studying 7th Grade Science, 8th Grade Science, 7th Grade English, 7th Grade Geogray and 8th Grade History. It has  always been my goal to include my students in as many regular education classes as possible and this has been successful for several of the students. Sometimes all the students need is support and a little assistance from me in order to organize and complete their assignments on time.I have tried to integrate social skills lessons into our curriculum so my students can become more self-reliant and learn to relate to their peers in a positive way. 

This is my 1st year at Nauvoo and the first time I have taught this age group. I find that I really enjoy relating to the students here and spending time helping the students in my resource classroom mature during the year into more responsible young people.
