I have been teaching in the Nauvoo-Colusa District #325 since 1996. Prior to that, I had worked in this system as a volunteer accompanist, substitute music teacher, and PTO member and officer

Extra Curricular:
I have served as Music Director/Accompanist for N-C Theater productions of Bye, Bye, Birdie; Seven Brides for Seven Brothers; The Wizard of Oz; My Fair Lady; Cinderella; Annie Get Your Gun; The Music Man; The Dastardly Doctor Devereau; Hubba Hubba; and NCJH productions of The Elves and the Shoemaker and No Strings Attached.
I was the Music Director of the Nauvoo Passion Play for nearly 20 years and  directed SonLight, a teen music and drama ministry for 15+ years.  I have also maintained a private piano studio for over 30 years.
My husband, Dan, and I have raised 2 sons, Joel and Peter, and have worked with teenage boys in our home for over 30 years. Dan is a farmer and contractor installing drainage systems.

Favorite Quote:
We are the music makers, and we are the dreamers of the dream. Wandering by lone sea breakers, and sitting by desolate streams. World losers and world forsakers, for whom the pale moon gleams. Yet we are movers and the shakers of the world forever it seems
