April is National Child Abuse Prevention Month.
Our PreK through 5th grade students participated in a coloring contest, coloring or creating pinwheels—the symbol of child abuse prevention, as they represent the kind of childhood every child deserves: safe, happy, and full of simple joys.
Thanks to DCFS, the Child Advocacy Network, and the Hancock County Sheriff's Office for coming to judge the coloring contest and for sharing a message with the students.
